This joke has been going around the net for years now. It is a joke, period. Think about it, how could leaving out a letter cause his wife's email to go to the widow lady? Email just doesn't work that way. If you leave a letter out of an addy, it just goes into cyber space, & eventually returns as "undeliverable". Yes it is a funny story, & that's all it is.

Actually, you're wrong. If you leave out a letter, it will still be received if the incorrect email address exists.

For example, if your email is "JOEY@yahoo.com," but you only type in "JOE@yahoo.com," if "JOE@yahoo.com" is a valid address, it will be sent to that person.

Sadly, I have had this happen before!
