Um...there was already a Black Sheep already made that looks 20x better than this and no awful horror premise. (See Chris Farley and David Spade)

This is totally for real. It's a New Zealand film put together by WETA, the effects house Peter Jackson built for LOTR.
Let's not forget that LOTR and even Kong were total flukes, look at jacksons other movies and you'll see how a film like this got made.

LOTR and King Kong were both flukes? Yeah, that makes sense. Look at Jackson's other movies and you'll see the birth and evolution of a natural born filmmaker.

I am a New Zealander and we are infamously known to shag sheep. The "serious" trailer is also a pisstake, movie will be funny as hell and I can't wait.

There are some good throwaway lines in the trailer, which indicated that the cat had fun while they weren't being eaten by mutant sheep.
The sheep revolting ("The sheep are revolting!" "Aren't they?") would be very frightening in New Zealand, where they outnumber the people by an alarming ratio. (or rather, it would be alarming if the sheep were hostile).
it becomes apparent by the comments here that the concept of a "horror-comedy" has gone flying over their heads at twenty thousand feet.
